This will make someone a very nice scope! That being said, The New York Times? As a conservative American, I would not even use that paper in the outhouse.
 
I apologize for my additional comment above. Liberal media makes me testy. I own three VX3 LR Leupold scopes. These are very nice scopes and carry an unbeatable lifetime warranty.
