Bought a rifle with a Vari X IIc on it. Never saw that designation before. Only difference seems to be that the adjustments are in MOA instead of inches.

Figured it was rare or something until a guy was shooting next door and had the very same thing.

What's the story on this one?

Roy in Idaho,
I have 2x7's,3x9's,4x12's all with the same
designation vari x IIc on them, all it means
is that it is a Leupold vari x II built in
the last 30 year's,and yes they are all in
MOA.

The lower case c was placed because of a design change in 1984. It added both windage and elvation to the Vari x ll.
