anyone use one for deer hunting/tracking. Borrowed one and used it this afternoon and it was really neat to see exactly where the deer where in the field at last few legal minutes so Iknow exactly in field where to look with scope. However it puts out a lot of light that I would think the deer could see, and also interferes with your eyes natural "night vision". Thoughts?

That is the difference between a scope and the screen. You can use your other eye for night vision and still see. With the screen both eyes are compromised.
