Leupold Mil Dot or TMR reticle, HELP

Looking for those with experiance with the Leupold Mil Dot and TMR reticle. It looks as if the TMR may offer more precission; however, the Mil Dot would offer consistancy with my other scopes. Questions:

1. Can Leupold put these in the first focal plane on a VX3 LR (6.5x20x50) scope so they work on all power settings?
2. What is the max Mils in the reticle?
3. Any Experiance with these?

Not on the VX3, but on the Mark 4.

Does anyone have any custom reticle recomendations. Any company other than factory leupold that can assist?
