Leupold 15-30x50 Compact

Was thinking about getting one of these for an upcoming Elk hunt in the mtns of Wyo. Seems to plenty clear, in the store at least. Small and light weight which would be good to carry in a pack. Anybody used one of them and what do you think of it? Any other models to consider? Thanks for your input.

Would work for short shots. Though it's not a LRH scope to my way of thinking.

I have used mine for a few seasons now. I really like it. I had used a friends spotting scope for two years but it was big and I would carry it for the first day snd then just leave it behind. I carry my Leupold Compact spotting scope every day when I hunt. I love it and would highly recommend it to you.
