My 2400 served me very well this elk season It will range what it's rated for, but not in just any lighting. Trees out to the 2400 yard range when conditions are good Normally around 1800-2000 in poorer reflective conditions.

The 2700b that I bought back in September has worked very well. I have ranged Sika deer to around 1100m but that was limited by the terrain I was in not the RF. Recently I ranged a single sheep at 2272m and trees and power poles to around 2400m which is as far as I can see where I live.
