This is only about 3 months old, so it is the latest model put out. Comes with soft case only, no box or paperwork. It's very easy to download and look at the directions on the Leica website. This also comes with a very nice tripod mount, specific to this model and is made from aluminum. The mount is great to laser way out there and I have got readings past 1600 before with it.
