I thought I'd try this again.
I need a left handed rifle for my son. He's 10 and gets to shoot his first dear this year.
He's a really cool kid that loves old cars and old guns. He doesn't think my Ar-15's look cool, he likes grandpa's old pre-64 featherweight model 70 a lot better.
I wand to find him a wood stock with a blued barrel and action in a classic rem 700 or win mod 70.
I'd prefer the above mentioned cartridges, but would look at a 243 as well.
No savages, no creedmoors....no offense.
Hoping to get this done for 800.00 or so.
Let me know what you got.

I remember a Rem.700 lefty in one of our shops here in town . I'm not sure on caliber I can take a look if you like .

That would be great. I've found a few sps models but really want to get him a nicer rifle than those. I want his first hunting rifle to be something he really likes, he deserves it.
Thank you
