The action for this rifle came from a left hand 700 bdl in 7mm with detachable mag. The barrel started as a 25-06 sendero barrel. I sent both of these pieces to Jeff Korn and had him chamber it up in 257 weatherby. I know that he put one of his ground recoil lugs on the rifle and I would assume that he faced the front of the receiver as well but don't hold me to that. It was then glass bedded to the B&C carbalite stock. The bottom metal is a quick klip conversion. The barrel is still 26 inches long. Some of the paint has chipped off the stock along the top and there is a little wear on the bottom from a bipod which can be seen in the pictures. The stock has also had a limb saver pad added. It has about 110 rounds down the tube since it was rechambered. It will shoot just a little under an inch for 5 shots with 110gr accubond over a fairly stiff load of rl-22. The scope on it is a Leupold vx-iii 6.5-20x 40 long range with the varmint hunter reticle. I am asking $850 for the rifle only and $1450 for the rifle and scope together. Thanks for looking
