Learning Late in Life - Colorado

Non-hunter ... for now. I got into building Rifles and Pistols because ... well because I like building things. I recently finished up a 6.5 Creedmoor and .308 both based on AR10 platforms but have only put a few rounds through each. Yes, I know that is not an ideal platform for long range hunting but I was working with 80% lowers. All that said, I'm excited to learn the performance of these two weapons / calibers and work up to doing some "long range hunting." Hope to get out to a suitable range in the next month or so to try out a variety of ammo, to see what might work best in each.
