Made a quick trip to SD pheasant hunting for two days in Jan. First day on public was hard to find birds but we did see some tracks. Second day we got on some private land and found quite a few birds but real spooky busting out way ahead.
I wish bird numbers were what they used to be 10-15 years ago. I would dare to bet numbers are down 75% where I live(central SD).......Game Fish and Parks doesnt want you to know that so they "officially" stopped counting.
