Used my Mathews Vertix to take this buck just before Christmas.

I wasn't seeing hardly any buck activity. Getting a few on camera, mostly night time photos. As the season wore on, I was loosing hope I'd get a buck with the bow.

This fellow showed up one evening while I was munching on some trail mix and watching to the east for deer. He showed up behind me, rustling the leaves enough to get my attention.

I almost spooked him getting set for the shot, but I made it happen.
