I'm in these camps.Fed GM210M
CCI BR2
CCI 200
Fed Champion 210
I prefer Fed primers, but I'll try win, rem, and cci also... Usually in that order...Is there one brand of primer superior to others?
Actually BR primers are supposed to ignite the powder less violently, hence with a weaker ignition, more gentle . I personally want more flameCCI BR2 would like to think they are the best. At least they price them that way. QC is supposed to be more stringent.
Winchester lrm and fed 215's often act nearly identical in a load... regular wlr are a bit milder, but a bit hotter than cci standard or 210's from what I've seen.I have rifles that like Remington, others CCI and others Federal. Never tried Winchester, though I have some
They're supposed to be the cat's meow, but doesn't always come true. Mostly due to others following in the same train tracks. Now being derailed off of cci and will be finding out how br2, win8 1/2, win8 1/2m and rem9 1/2m will fare against other proven rounds. Looks like square 1 for me! I've also never used any #34 or #41's before. I've only used 200, 400 and 450's in AR's.From the research I have done on this topic, Federal 210 match come up as the preferred choice.
