what's the practical difference between a laminated stock and a synthetic stock? i'm not yet shooting a flea at 1000 yards, but rather wanting to shoot a deer a 500-600 yards. would i notice a difference?

except weight that possible to built from very light ( carbon shell / light filling to strong thick shell and leas shot compound )

there is no diffrence with good laminated and correct bedding , drop a barreled action in the best stock without good bedding job is a great loose of money

better is to choose the right patern but if you want a combo that always to have two stocks for one barreled action one heavy for bench and confortables hape as Shedanne traker or MacMillan Tooley and one more design for carry

good shooting
