Thinking about a Labradar to replace the chrony, but wondering how clear the line of sight to target needs to be.

I am blessed to be able to shoot at home so I never go to the range.

The concern is that when shooting 100yds, the bullet path is between small oaks 10'-15' opening. There is an opening in the branches of the same trees 10' +/- that will allow me to shoot 350yds. These trees are at 30yds from the bench.

How finicky is the Labradar to downrange obstructions?

It won't effect your muzzle velocity reading if you have 30 yards to the trees, but don't expect any readings after it passes the trees.
