Now that's an interesting option and the price is right. I'll need to get an aux battery and a mini-tripod in there too. Might need a bit more room.

I have 2 batteries under the unit. Cut out the foamies, and you have plenty of space for two. I have a mini tripod the fits but I use a sawhorse quad mount (a $29.99 set-up) now.

I went with the 4800 size case. It's a bit larger than necessary but has plenty of space. Accessories and cables are stored under the unit.

The Apache 4800 case is about 1.5" deeper then needed but other than that it's well suited to the LabRadar and accessories.
