How does it feed?

As smooth as kimbers do. It feeds well. The action on kimbers is very forgiving.

Is the break removable? Not my ideal caliber to break as the recoil is fairly tolerable and with a hunting rig I'm pretty slow to remember hearing protection when something jumps up out of its bed.

How does it shoot, have been looking for a .280 AI but could be persuaded otherwise.

I've recently fired a few 3 shot groups with factory that were moa 1" ballpark. Then I ran 3 of the handload I use for my tikka with 140 vld's and it shrunk to 3/4". It's an ultralight so id say that's pretty good potential. It's a friends rifle so it has not been through "my process" nor has it been fired much at all.
