The Kimber tactical that I had my hands on was as nice as most of the customs that I have seen. This gun belongs to a friend I hunt and shoot with. Fit and finish were excellent. The trigger was very good. This particular gun shoots true 1/2 moa or better. When I first saw the price of this rifle I thought who in their right mind would pay this for a factory semi custom rifle. I think the guy paid $2100 dollars for the hard case and the rifle. All in all I think it is fair deal for what you get. He has had the rifle for 2 years now and probably put about 500 to 600 round through it with no problems. The only dislike that I have with it is the lack of different caliber choices.
