Kimber Classic action rebarreled by PacNor before the fire. 22" 1-9TW SS Super Match in factory contour in a Montana stock. Less than 100 rds fired. I worked up a load with 150BT and several powders which shot an inch or sometimes better. I quit there….
Has a Ti long bolt knob.
6lbs 9 oz with NF 3-10 non illuminated.

Any idea how it's throated? If a 168/180 might get somewhere near the lands?

Have a Fieldcraft 6.5 CM if that might be of some interest for trades
 
I'll check my notes later but the issue is mag box length. 2.850ish
IIRC it has a good throat considering the max OAL.
 
Took me a second to figure out the picture orientation but yes that looks easy enough. How much do you gain? .050-.060?
 
Indeed this may tangent the thread...

It buys me .125" In total. I don't need that much to get to the lands. But I like having the headroom.

All I did was have a buddy of mine with an end mill dig cut that out.

If I had any sense I'd try to patent this and exploit it, but I doNt need another project...
