Son got his first buck, Oregon mentored youth, 343 yds, 300 ultra mag. Daughter got her tonight 200 yds , 300 ultra mag. Both 1 shot kills

It was my sons first buck. Very excited boy. 2nd buck for my daughter she got her first buck at 9 yrs old

That's great. The kids are fun to hunt with. We have our youth early opener for deer this week. Can't wait.

I think the mentored youth program is a great way to give them a skills on a lifetime of hunting. I could not be prouder. My daughter passed on 8 bucks before she found the one she wanted. After my hunting partner passed away i lost a lot of drive to hunt because I hunted alone. Now the kids are into it I found my drive and absolutely love putting them on game and spending time with them. I have had them out with me since they were little.
