Kestrel 4500 W/Bluetooth & LB3.0

Thinking about upgrading my Kestrel 4000 to the 4500 with Bluetooth. Wondering if anyone has done this conversion and how do you like it.

Just not sure what advantage there is to having real time updates loaded automatically to your PDA. Also, what will this do to battery life?
