I was checking the Kestrel site and saw the 4000 series now can communicate via Bluetooth.
lightbulb I was thinking it would be awesome if I could set up the Kestrel on the wind vane and tripod and have it feed live enviromental data to my PPC where I can input real time data into Loadbase 3.0.
Maybe someone has done this before and I just haven't seen it, I think it would be great!
In several of my shooting spots the shooter is out of the wind in a nice spot making it necessary to walk out to a point to get accurate wind data and you can not feel changes very well from the shooting position, you can hear the change in the trees but it takes a lot of change for that.
