"Kentucky windage" or adjust your sights?

Couldn't find a "right" place for this, but I'm curious --

Do most people here use "Kentucky windage" for long shots, using an extreme holdover for long shots, or do you adjust your sights? I've seen people do both, and adjusting the sights seems to be much more accurate for me.

I dial as I have found I shoot more accurately doing this. My scopes do not have ballistic reticles.
