[QUOTE="sextonds, post: 2216012, member: 117171"] Hey guys. Just wanted to get the word out to anyone who may be interested. Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill is located in the heart of the Bluegrass state, and is situated along the hardwood valleys and rolling farm land along the Kentucky River. The Kentucky River area is well known for growing very impressive whitetails. Shaker Village is a 3000+ acre preserve that is a non profit, donor funded property. It’s quite possibly, one of the most historic, beautiful places you will ever visit. The preserve is strictly managed for wildlife habitat. They are offering a lottery style raffle for a 3 day rifle hunt, which will include lodging, meals, taxidermy, and possibly a new rifle donated by a local firearms retailer. This is a Kentucky Commission tag, which means if you are a KY resident it will be an extra bonus buck tag for you. This is an experience, that yields great opportunity for a chance to harvest the buck of a lifetime. Only a couple bucks are harvested from the property each year. It is strictly managed for big whitetails and other wildlife. The drawing will likely take place in October. All the proceeds go back into the management of the property and also benefit Conservation camps across Kentucky. Raffle Sales are as follows- 1 Chance- $25 6 chances- $100 15 chances- $250 There will also be other incentives for buying large bundles. This is a great opportunity that benefits 2 great causes. Trail cameras will be going up soon and I will gladly post some teasing pictures of some giant velvet bucks 😁 I will be posting a link In the near future with all the details and instructions for you to submit your entries. What do you have to lose? We’ve all spent more money for a lot less things. You get a chance to explore the beautiful landscape of Historic central Kentucky. Oh, and............. it sits right in the middle of the most prestigious bourbon distilleries in the world 🥃 😋. I will give updates, once the details become available. Feel free to reach out to me for any questions. I just wanted to get the word out, to help benefit the causes, and hopefully help someone harvest an awesome buck.
