Kelbly Atlas TG ejector?

Hey fellas, for those that have or still currently own an Atlas or Atlas Tactical with TG ejector; is the ejector suppose to sit near flush with the bolt face or near flush to the bolt nose?

I just took delivery on an Atlas, and the ejector is flush to the face. But in the Atlas Tactical youtube vid from Kelbly the ejector is near the bolt nose?

The actiobn has no trigger, stock, barrel etc installed; just the receiver and bolt.

Or does the ejector only function when expending the brass?

Educate me please!

It's flush with the bolt face until you stroke the action back to the bolt stop. Then it goes up underneath the ejector to push the case out.

I watched the video. It actually shows it both ways but that is just how it happened to be sitting at the time. Clucknmoan is correct. If you place a case in the bolt face you will see it pushes the ejector back. When you cycle the bolt back the extractor hits the lever that pushes the ejector forward causing the case to be ejected.

Hey thanks fellas, been trying to figure this out. So used to seeing the plunger style in a M700 that it had me baffled.
