Our favorite is the Bass Pro brand, Redhead, I think, in Original. It is a seasoning with a cure. Add water. We put the meat in and marinate for about 24 hrs. Best jerky we've ever had. Big hit at my kid's school too.

We really like Jack Link's mix. You might have a tough time finding it but it has a really good flavor.

I've made tons (literally) of jerky and sausage with products from these guys. Great products, people and excellent service. They have everything you need.
