JB Weld

WOuld JB weld work well for a bedding compond? Im looking at the stuff that has a strenght of 3960 PSI. I know DEVCON is what most ppl use im just looking for a budget alternative atm the 50$ plus shipping is a lil hard to come by. Any opinions are greatly appreciated. TY

I used JB Weld in the last 2 rifles I did and will use it on the next one. Zero issues, works great.

Marine Tex is 13000 PSI compressive strength. I believe it is what most people use including McMillan and our US military armorers. Devcon doesn't particularly impress me for what it costs.

+ another for Marine-Tex. I guess you can use about anything you might want, but remember, it probably won't be a "new" idea as much has already been tried before.
