Is it fixable?

I was out shooting last night when i was running after something i shot that had run into the bush, when i steped on something slimmy and went for a fall. When i picked up my rifle the scope was all fogged up but the crosshairs were fine, Since coming home the scope has cleared up again. Does it sound like i've wreacked it or could it be something simple like a nitrogen refill?

P.S: The scope is a Nikko Sterling 4-12x42AO Gold crown.

If you know it fogged "internally" it will most definitely need re-charged and re-sealed, or it will fog up from now on.
