I use a 20-50x leup at 1000yds--havent come down from 50x in about 10 matches from 500M-1000yds
I also know about 2 handfuls of other guys that shoot 1kBR who dont come off 50X--and they are in the top 10 in the aggs at williamsport.
though 16 will easily get you to 1K (though that would be tough on P-Dogs) it is nowhere near max usable magnification.
