Hi Guys
I decided to join up after reading a few of the posts and articles on the forum.
Wow a lot of great advice on here.
I have been a keen hunter for 40 years and during that time have worked as a government hunter in NewZealand
I have mainly bush hunted Red stags during the rut/roar, but also have done a lot of pig hunting with my team of dogs.

I have made the jump into long range hunting after purchasing a new Tikka T3x hunter stainless,fluted in 270win.
Currently I am working up handloads as I will be shooting out to 500 yards on himalayan Thar in Newzealands rugged southern alps.

Yesterday I did an OCW test with some 140 gin sierra gameking and adi 2209 powder.
Trying to get my head around the node picture.

Anyway I am really happy to be a member of this awesome group

Welcome to the forum! My wife and I got to visit NZ in the 90's for a week. Wish we could have had more time. Spent our time on the South Island. Really beautiful country. I would like to go back and visit some more in the future.
