I just ordered more 155 AH missiles
Shot 50 of the 70 I ordered. I'm liking them a lot so far. More testing tomorrow for my 7saum i fully expect to load these for hunting this season. Makes the SAUM a rocket launcher!

It's actually a Savage with 22 inch barrel. It literally shoots 140 Hornady factory ammo just over 2500 fps. I have a 24 inch barrel Tikka here to try these bullets in and my 1000 yard Creed.

Did first work-ups today for the 6.5-06AI and Absolutes. It's being a bit finiky which surprised me. Tried 4 powders will finish tomorrow I hope.
Started with R16. Too fast. So is N550. N560 too slow. Superformance surprised me. Hit 3500 but ignition was a little erratic. Going to try CCI 250s tomorrow and see if ignition is more consistent. My regular load with 124 Hunter Hammers is 3208 or so - so it looks like I'll get the 300 fps increase

Started with R16. Too fast. So is N550. N560 too slow. Superformance surprised me. Hit 3500 but ignition was a little erratic. Going to try CCI 250s tomorrow and see if ignition is more consistent. My regular load with 124 Hunter Hammers is 3208 or so - so it looks like I'll get the 300 fps increase

Might as well add some N555 to your powder supply. VV says it's right between N550 and N160, so not nearly as slow as N560

keep us posted on this I will be trying them in a 6.5-280AI in a couple days my load with the 124 is running 3402 with rl-23 I know this powder will not work with the 123 The first one I will try will be n-555 then hybrid 100v

I was using superformance last year but found it to be highly temperature sensitive to the tune of 150 fps from 30F to 80F so I was switching over to StaBall 6.5 in the hopes to avoid that issue.

With the 123gr AH in my 6.5 PRC with fired ADG brass I settled on 59.3gr to the tune of 3320 fps but have to tune the seating depth to see if that shrinks the groups a bit. If superformance worked for you then I guess I'm going to have to break out the H4831SC and RL26 to give those a try.

I've found that these need a crimp to get the powder burn consistent
There is such a large reduction in bullet contact with the case neck the extra delay is needed.
Just my experience
