Introducing the Absolute Hammer

Great news! Steve and Brian's new CNC machine came in and got set up this week. They ran their first bullet on the new machine today. It's a .284 172 gr Absolute Hammer. Came out perfect to the nearest ten thousandths! Good for them!

Update on the 90g 25cal AH's
I finally got it figured out and I'm gonna have to eat some crow but I'm not picky about feeding so it's all good
90g AH
Peterson 270 Brass
.0035 Neck tension
CCI250 primer
62g of Staball 6.5
Coal 3.335
Lee FCD@ 1/8th
Ole Pokeys specs are still the same

I got in in to the 3900's but it was on the ragged edge, I believe there is a little more in it but I feel a little better about it now , 168fps gain over the HH
For what it's worth I was about out of Staball as I had been starting fires with it up til now

Did some tweaking today with the 90g AH's and got solidly into the 3900's, Avg of 3923 verified@500, I almost made it to 4 grand (3978) but I'm still digging, As always it killed the plate, the black spots are where the 67g SH's hit but they were out of steam by then

This is for the 3923 avg load
I just put the other pic up to show how close I got to 4000

BBean,
Need some clarification. I'm inputting your data update on the 90gr AHs. Got the 3880 fps data. Then in post #1255 you mentioned 3923 fps with 67gr Sledge Hammers. I'm confused - or was it a typo?

All apologies, updated, I was just saying that 3 black dots were where the 67g SH's hit the same target@ 500yards but they were running out of energy very quickly

BBean,
OK, updated and corrected (I hope). Please review your load data on our spreadsheet and make sure it's correct now. Sorry for the confusion
