I am not involved, but looks like it could be a good long range caliber. Sorry if I am supposed to post links to other forums, but I thought this could be of serious interest to some on here. Long barrel life and good long range ballistics?

Very interesting, I have been thinking about a 395 caliber round as well, guess I was thinking to much and not doing!!!

Halfway between the 375 and 408, great idea. I think it would be even better on a larger case, that is my plan if it happens anyway.

Any idea who is making the barrels for them?

Kirby, he is using McGowen Precision Barrels in 1-12" twist.

I think heavier bullets would be in order if you used a larger case, you should be able to get some extreme BCs, with an entirely new caliber there wouldn't be anything considered an "odd" twist.

EDIT-
What about your 510 Allen Mag necked down? Extreme velocity?! Barrel life?
