I ran the maths and came up with 0.57 degrees of incline necessary for 10 MILS (33.75MOA) of incline to machine either into a base or rings.

This just doesn't "seem" like enough to be, can anyone confirm that my calculaions are correct?

I can never get the shim calculated right for scope base(s).
I can still do college freshman calculus.
I understand scientific method.

My recent guesses as to why I have to diddle it, include changes when tightening down the base(s).
