Has anyone had much luck with the enduron powders? I picked some 4166, 4451 and 4955 up.

The plan is to play with them and see what I can do with them with the 22-250, 7-08 and 7 mag and some Barnes bullets.

Enduron 4451 is the same burn rate as H4350, Enduron 4955 is very close to H4831. I've use both these Enduron powders in place of the Hodgdon powders within a few tenths of a grain. Enduron is advertised as being temp stable. Perhaps try the Enduron 7977 which is like H1000, in your 7mm mag. Back when all the popular Hodgdon powders were unavailable, I used the Endurons. Good luck

I use 4166 in two of my 308s with berger 185 juggernaut bullets. I can not complain at all. Nearly 100% case fill, velocity slightly better than the load I had using IMR 4064, single digit SD. Temperature stablility is as advertised and the copper fouling elimination has sure extended the round count between de-coppering.
I bought a pound to test with and quickly ordered an 8# jug and mixed them together.

Interestingly (at least it was to me), my 25-06's didn't care for a single load done with H1000. IMR7977, on the other hand, shoots nice, tight little groups.

I use the 7977 in my 338 RUM with 250AB 3100fps very accurate and very easy to clean the barrel. I don't know if it's the load or the carbon 6 barrel. Regardless I'm sold on the new Enduron powders 8133 is on my radar for my new build 300 RUM. Good luck.

7977, 160 class bullets and the 7RM are a match made in heaven. Not there highest velocities, but I've always had really low SD's and great accuracy.

I have a lb of 8133 that I'm going to try with 184 Bergers after my current barrel is toasted.

I spent Sunday afternoon doing some load development for my new 260 Rem with Hornady 123 ELD. Used RL16, IMR4166 and IMR4955. Just using the starting loads from the manuals, the 4166 was the only one that shot under 1 moa. The accuracy and where it hit on target was right on compared to the Berger factory ammo I used to foul the barrel. The other two were 1 inch lower and 1.5 moa. I didn't set up my chrono due to impending rain but next time I will just be doing loads with the 4166 and will chrono them as I move up in grains. If I can't get the groups down to 1/2 inch, I will move to another powder.

My 308 RPR loves 4166 with the 175 RDFs and VLDs running ~2700fps. Still experimenting with 4166 and 4451 in 30-06, 7-08 and 6.5 Creed. One things I've found is recommended max loads seem to be all over the place with the Enduron powders....as in a 4 grain difference in some cases.

I researched a lot for real world info on 8133 vs Retumbo with 200 grainers in a 300RUM. Hodgdon data lists max was 3 full grains lower than Retumbo.
Loaded some rounds up to 3gr lighter than my Retumbo load... we'll see what happens.

I know I dug up an old thread here but I wanted more Enduron info and didn't want to start yet another thread about something that was already covered.

Are y'all still using the Enduron Powders?

Is the improvement in copper fouling proving to be true?

Accuracy?

Issues?

Imr 8133 is doing good things in my .300 win with 225 eld m, I posted a thread about my findings on here recently.

79 grains, hbn treated bullet, fed 215, win brass. 2760 FPS, no pressure signs, very compressed, 1 ragged hole at 80 paces or so, verified accuracy and drop to 400 so far.

I might try the 7977 though, as this 8133 load is crushed pretty hard and I feel it might be possible to go just a tad faster. But at the same time it's working so blasted well, extremely accurate, that i think I'll just stick with what I've got. It ain't broke, maybe I shouldn't fix it.

Happy with every Enduron powder I've tried. I shoot in temps ranging from 0-100F. So, I wanted the temp stability. I've shot 4166, 4451, 4955, and 7977.

I had bizarre intermittent pressure with 4955 in 270 but I think most can be attributed to brass. Still, enough to cause concern. I no longer use it.

No issues with 7977 and good accuracy.

4166 was good in a 308 but not as good as H4350 for me.

Although 8208 XBR is not officially an Enduron, it supposedly has excellent temp stability and it performs beautifully.
