Ive completed the build on my 7RUM and was pretty sure i was done until i was smacked in the face with load development hahaha. Turns out i dont shoot worth a crap if im not holding the rifle if that makes any sense
Mr 257 i was curious as ive seen you here a bit do you shoot the roberts or the Weatherby
I think the load we've started with will prove to be good but i was all over the place trying to get comfortable with the lead sled i feel i have far more control and accuracy right off my shoulderNice looking rifle. That's an interesting scope mounting approach.
Have you had any luck with load development?
Only use the lead sled for the "one shot scope zero" after that I hold the rifle, front rested, rear supported by a bagI think the load we've started with will prove to be good but i was all over the place trying to get comfortable with the lead sled i feel i have far more control and accuracy right off my shoulder

I've had the 257 moniker since Remington released the Sendero in 1994. I chose it because I am a fan of the 25-06 Remington. I own a first generation R700 Sendero in 25-06 that was my first really accurate rifle. It shot amazingly well until I burned out the barrel. It has since been rebarrelled to 280AI but the name lives on.Mr 257 i was curious as ive seen you here a bit do you shoot the roberts or the Weatherby
