Nice looking rifle. That's an interesting scope mounting approach.

Have you had any luck with load development?

I think the load we've started with will prove to be good but i was all over the place trying to get comfortable with the lead sled i feel i have far more control and accuracy right off my shoulder

Only use the lead sled for the "one shot scope zero" after that I hold the rifle, front rested, rear supported by a bag

Mr 257 i was curious as ive seen you here a bit do you shoot the roberts or the Weatherby
I've had the 257 moniker since Remington released the Sendero in 1994. I chose it because I am a fan of the 25-06 Remington. I own a first generation R700 Sendero in 25-06 that was my first really accurate rifle. It shot amazingly well until I burned out the barrel. It has since been rebarrelled to 280AI but the name lives on.
