I have, I think 100 pieces or so of, military 308 brass that got necked down to 7-08. Primer pockets have been swaged and everything. I gave the gun away so don't have too much use for it. Also the necks are pretty dang thick, and I don't feel like dealing with it. I'm sure they would balance out after a while. I could send it to you if you'd like.Now I almost can't wait to get started on load development! Just gotta find some powder and brass.
Also Shooters World Precison Rifle is nearly Idenical to Varget.
Other stuff around Varget that isn't as hard to find...BL-C2, CFE-223, N140, etc. Check a burn rate chart.I hear that stuff is about as hard to find as a gold tooth in a 10 yr old banty rooster.

I've had really good luck with Ramshot Big Game and RL16 pushing 132gr Cutting Edge Maximus bullets.

Varget works good , but I was using CFE 223 in my last 7-08 with 120 ttsx and was getting 3240 FPS in a 20.5 " bbl.
That sounds awesome! Makes me want to buy/build a 7-08.
