I'm in SE Idaho. Joined recently. Finally got to shoot sort-of long range last Tuesday, to 800 yards. I used my 6.5 Grendel and it was fun.

Do you hand load and if so are you going to use the 7-08 on the hunt. I've been running a 162ELDX and a 168ABLR around 2650fps out of mine. There are also the 150ELDX that I seen some use also for a little more speed.

I just picked up some Barnes LRX bullets. I plsn to see if they shoot well in this rifle.
