Idaho elk permit

I live in Idaho and hunt elk every year. I bought a 338 edge from defensive edge and am thinking of putting in for an elk tag where I would have a better chance at a big bull. Has anyone else here on this forum put in for drawing only units in Idaho?

I always put in for unit 11 bull or cow tags.

Unit 13 because I live here. Used to spend most of my time in units 18, 22 and 27 hunting elk. Unit 18 on the Snake side if I had to choose another unit to hunt today.


Unit 18 and I think now 22 are draw units. Unit 27 is still over the counter as far as I know.
