Wow those are some great Reindeer! Great picture quality!

I am thinking I am going to put in for tags in Iceland or Greenland this year or next.
Which would you recommend? And if I draw, what time of the season would you recommend to make the hunt?

Bronco.

It was nice to hunt in Greenland. Middle of august is good. Very easy to get licence. like this company Fly fishing Iceland. Atlantic salmon fishing. Fishing tours

Hunting season hera at Iceland is from middle of july until middle of september.
It is hard to get licence in the reindeer lottery in february
( Hreindýr - Umhverfisstofnun) there you will find e-mail and phone number

approx 1200 reindeer this year but you have same chance I have in the lottery.
Hope that help you.

You can also give me a call if you like +354-865-5060 for more information

Hi.
It is SAKO TRG42 in 300 Win MAG. with Zeiss 6-24x56 scope. Yes I shoot all my deer in the head close to the ear.. Normal range is about 100-300 mtr. You can see more "head shoot" in my thread here in varmint hunting

Wow that looks like a riot and looks like you can get some pretty good distance out of the shooting! Whats your setup for your rifle?

Today I use custom 6,5x47 Lapua and custom 7mm STW.

The 7mm is with Stiller Predator action, kreiger barrel, jewel trigger, Mcmillan A5 stock, Zeiss 6-24x72 on the top. 0 at 200 mtr. 7 clicks at 300, 16 clicks at 400, 26 clicks at 500 mtr.and 51 clicks at 700. Using 140gn Nosler BT, VV N165 80gn
