I need information for a scope gizmo.

I found a website once that had an attachment that screwed to the ocular eye piece of a rifle scope. They claimed it increased the eye relief and if I remember right it also made the image appear wider to the eye, as in there was no longer a dark ring around the image. Does anybody know what this is? I thought it was an "optical doubler" but google searching for that gave no good results.
