I learned something from that 500 vs a 1000 yards

I also have a 7mm Remington Ultra Mag that seems very accurate for a sporter barrel (so far) to the tune of 3-shots @ 100 yards= 3/4 MOA or less...

With tweaking, I'm sure it would shoot a deer at 600 or 800 yards but I need to develop the skills as a shooter first. That's what the .308 is for (grin !)

I love the Ultra, but if I shoot her a lot, it's gonna shoot-out the barrel and I don't want that...
