$1200 for an American built rifle seems more than fair, hopefully the quality and accuracy are there as well

I looked at the Alpine! I never buy entry level of anything. I'd rather buy top shelf of lower brand than entry level of higher. That's just me

I got one also, I give them credit, they are always competing. Just like Roy did, you can't set stagnant, do nothing and expect to succeed, you have to meet or beat what is saleing. I like the cost of the action and mag box length. Good for them.

I agree, I wonder who is producing the action? I am not up on chassis', does anyone make a carbon fiber chassis for purchase separately?

Edit: I see it's an MDT chassis

The Alpine is an attractive rifle and a 7.5 twist 243 is even more attractive.
