I Hate Hammer Bullets!

IMHO it should be locked and allowed to fade away. The OP has found the answers to the question he asked. The rest is all teenage girl drama, but it does keep his product in focus.

As said before, I don't hate much of anything even the opinions of the people here. Everyone has an opinion, some based on experience and knowledge others on hearsay. I really don't care either way one way or another. I simply don't care for comment made on fiction rather than fact. If you have actually done something, please report it so we don't try to reinvent the railroad so to speak. Share knowledge, not bickering. Report facts about your tests so others can learn from your trials and tribulations. We all have been there and done that, but some of us try something else, let us know the results.

I have been on gun forums for going on 11 yrs, I think some of the most epic arguments stem from choices of bullets.
And I am a snipers hide member, a fight can ensue there over your what brand of coffee you like.

I have to say it is quite obvious to me that this thread was started for the sole purpose of a member on here selling bullets that doesn’t like his product bashed…….there is no other logical conclusion to be made.
As I stated early in the piece, I neither like, dislike or hate Hammer BULLETS, BUT I am sick and tired of the bickering, hijacked threads and the constant pushing of a product in threads that have NOTHING to do with the threads question.
Sure, I am opinionated about what bullets work, I bash Hornady bullets because they are cheap junk, but I do not spend every minute of my time on here doing so.
I get that people like them, I get that people have opinions, I also get that opinions are like a holes, everyone has one.
Steve, I have the utmost respect for you, but starting this thread has waned me from you just a little, it may have even swayed me from trying your bullets…..haven’t decided yet.

I have never understood the mil vs moa rumbles. It's like we get points if we convert someone to our standard.
I get points for nodding my head and kissing my wifes behind. Points from gun forum members are non-collectable, lol

Come on man, you are all over hammer bullet threads, you use them and love them. I looked before I responded. Don’t act like it is some objective comment.

I'm not all over anywhere in here because I don't post that often. When I saw his first post in this thread I knew there was going to be a lot of negative comments. I was only trying to make a joke and give him something to smile about in between reading all of the rough comments that I knew would certainly come.

I’m going to chime in just for fun and reference back to Steve’s OP.

I read only 6 pages then I couldn’t bear to waste any more of my time. In my opinion most of you (man-bun or not) guys and gals have completely ignored Steve’s request in his premise for this thread because you just can’t resist putting your voice out there (much like I am doing now on page 20-something to criticize you). I challenge you to read through 20+ pages and glean anything of substantive benefit to the OP.

Steve wants to understand legitimate criticism of his product. What’s more, he specifically requested criticism only and no favorable reviews. Good grief! Y’all could not even do that…. In 6 pages I read 3 actual criticisms, maybe 4.

1 cost
2 erratic or perceived variable BC
3 poor penetration experience
4 haadji said the Hammer he shot produced 4” group at 100 yd. But then his solution is to re-barrel.

Good luck Steve with getting much useful info out of this self-absorbed gaggle of shooting experts.

I don’t believe this was ever about meaningful feedback. Steve was upset and being confrontational over some recent threads introducing members to some other small monolithic bullet companies. He didn’t expect anybody to say anything negative, and he knew if they did his minions would attack those members with the hopes of getting them banned from the forum. I believe he was trying to single out prominent members like Feenix and egg him into a ban.

He was doing everything he can to start a fight. I don’t think he was expecting people to point out accuracy issues with his bullets, significant weight differences in a box of bullets etc.

He puts down Bryan Litz because he comes out with some honest BC’s that go agains what his claims are and attacks the narrative that his bullets are long range hunting bullets….and attacks any body who disagrees with him. Lucky for us all of those posts are still on here. Go do a search over the last few years.

He started this thread to pick fights and get his haters banned. The guy is abrasive and arrogant. That is why he started this thread.

I am likely equally or more jaded than you RamTruckMan. However, I struggle to understand your frame of reference for your claim(s) against Steve’s character when you joined this forum last Saturday. Feel free to enlighten me re; your basis. I am truly curious.

I don’t know Steve and never bought his product. I am quite familiar with human egocentricity and its attendant behaviors. Which is why I completely ignored this thread until today.
