I just got this running. It took a week. I will build another one for 2018 hunting.

1980 Rem 700 ADL 7mmRM
Bartlein #3 9" twist barrel
B&C stock with Aluminum bed
Wyatt magazine, follower, spring, and bottom metal
PTG bolt with AR15 extractor
PTG 0.187" recoil lug.
Piece of 3/32" oil hardening drill rod for the recoil pin
Timney 510 trigger
Aluma Hyde II paint Coyote color on the barrel
Action screws made from modified Unbrako cap screws.

Note to self: Remington may have a 0.704" diameter hole 0.155" deep in the breech of their barrel for their 0.694" bolt head, but for PTG bolt with an AR15 extractor to snap over the extractor rim of a chambered round, that hole will need to be 0.725".

Only thing is, the BIG 7's really shouldn't be shot without a brake! They are violent, even in a 15lb rifle.

Full length magnum anything without a brake, is a chore, I don't care who you are!

Love the STW. Built two of them. Re-Barreling and stocking my current rifle.
Try 160 Accubonds with 80 grains of retumbo or h1000.

This is 12 pounds 7 ounces and ready to test fire.
