Here are a few videos of some kills last year. The 1st one I made the other two my buddy Stric9 made of some shots he took. Some of the shots are long range shots we got to capture. Enjoy gun)

Yes we feed. Actually they normally do spook. But we've noticed one thing. Whenever we shoot anything with a rifle that has a brake on it they don't. My buddy shot at a bob cat once with his 7mm rem mag and all the deer just kept feeding not knowing what happened. I guess the noise is super loud where we are and doesn't travel down range especially when they are surrounded by south Texas brush or at a lower level ground than the shooter. It amazed me the first time I saw that too. Now shoot with a 223 or even .22 without a brake on it, they'll jump out of their skin everytime because they'll hear that and recognize the sound LOL

so if they spook, are they back in say a week?
im just wondering for my hunting spot what we hit once a week. we dont feed, but my hunting partner thinks if we practice where we hunt it may scare the animals away.

The ranch is a low fence ranch so they can go into other properties but they normally stay in the area where their born. Of corse there must be enough food and water (which we have both). The only time we will see bucks come and go is during the rut. They will go for miles to find a hot doe. But other than that the deer will be back especially because of the thick South Texas Brush. They always stay close to the brush line in order to take cover from any threats if need be. But we practice during the off season on that one (sendero) as we call them here in South Texas. Then we feed a few times whenever we feel like hunting it.
