HS precision stock

I just bought a Savage Model 12 LRP rifle in .260 Remington. It came with a HS Precision stock. With my 20 MOA rail and medium height rings to accommodate a 56 MM objective lens, I am needing to add a cheek riser for my grandson to shoot it comfortably. Has anyone drilled an HS Precision stock for the cheek riser bolts to pass through, and if so were there any issues? Thank you

Done it to 5 or 6. No issues just go slow from both sides.

I have....Although I drilled down from the top and set some nut zerts with epoxy for a top mount. My stock was hollow, but I have read others say there's was full of foam. Just use a sharp drill bit so it doesn't hang up!
