I looked online and I couldn't find anything about the action but looks like a possibility of a Winchester 70 and it wasn't a 6 creedmoor

Good Morning,

Thank you for contacting us. The thread pitch is the same as Remington - 1-1/16 (16 TPI).

The nose of an H-S bolt is tapered whereas a Remington bolt nose is squared so the barrel would need to be modified to make the Remington bolt work properly.

If you need additional information, please let us know.

Best Regards,

Subject: Barrel thread pitch

Message Body:
Hello,
I have a take off barrel from a HTR. What is the third pitch? Will the barrel fit a Rem 700 without alterations?
Thanks

The H-S bolt has a cone breech bolt design. This was done to distinguish the H-S actions from the basically similar Remington M700 actions.

If you are a DIY person, it's certainly feasible to make the adjustments using a lathe. Otherwise a gunsmith's services will be required.
