Howa Hogue kryptek stock replacement

OK, not sure if i am asking in the right place but I figured I would start here-if need be i can move the to the proper folder.

16 yo daughter wants to take the HOWA Hogue Kryptek full dip 22-250 I picked up for us to start long range shooting with and she wants to paint it! Thinking is that she will use the existing cammo pattern as an outline to pain soft pink, baby blue or what ever else suites her fancy. Now, I am not one to try and hold back anyones creativity so this is going to happen, but I was wondering where I might find a replacement stock for down the road should we ever decide to part with this firearm. now, I am 99% sure this gun has found a permanent home in our safe, but what are some good economical stock replacement options?

Boyds Gunstocks offers several options for the Howa's mini. I think Bell & Carlson's also makes some.

I wouldn't buy another stock if you are selling. There's possibly a girl that'll appreciate her paint job and if not I would just strip it and repaint it. No sense putting $$ into it that you probably won't recoup on the sale.

The Howa stocks are over molded with a thin layer of rubber so "stripping" the paint off before selling isn't and option. Just get ahold of Legacy Sports Intnl and see about ordering a replacement. You should also be able to get one from Hogue although it won't be hydrodipped.

If you're interested I have the black stock that came with the mini action. Not sure if the 22-250 is in the mini lineup. But if it fits I'll sell it cheap. Really cheap, pay for the shipping.

I've been shopping for a vanguard/Howa replacement stock online the last few months. Ebay and GunBroker have many that may fit your needs. Great project for her and good on ya for letting her do what she wants. I was refinishing some canoe paddles years ago when my son was little. He wanted to "decorate" one so I let him. Looking at that paddle with crazy sharpy markings on it brings back memories. I bet u won't sell that rifle.
