How far out is the .204 good for ?

I got my first prairie dog today at 229 yrds with my .204 and there wasnt enough left to take a pitcure longest shot ive had a chance to take yet was 412 yrds but i missed, longest successful shot was 351 yrds on prairie rat and the damage was pretty impressive!
